The bakery, located at 2770 Cory Avenue, shared the news in a Facebook post on March 25, marking 50 years of business while preparing to close its doors later this year.
The Reeves family expressed gratitude as they look back on their long history. Their bakery has been a staple in Summit County, making custom-designed cakes, cookies, and pastries using recipes passed down through four generations. These recipes reflect more than 100 years of baking tradition.
Over the years, Reeves Cake Shop has baked creations for more than 10,000 weddings, along with countless birthdays, holidays, and other celebrations. The family assured customers they will continue to provide the same quality and delicious baked goods until December 24, 2026. In their announcement, the Reeves family also expressed openness to passing the business to a new owner. They invited interested parties to reach out to discuss the opportunity of running this well-loved bakery.
