Mendukung Pedagang Disabilitas: Capital Financial dan Aksesmu Tingkatkan Kesejahteraan Ekonomi Inklusif di Indonesia

Capital Financial and Aksesmu Support Traders with Disabilities Across Indonesia

Yogyakarta, December 3, 2025 – PT Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk (Capital) and Aksesmu have broadened their efforts to empower traders with disabilities through the ongoing Aksabilitas Program. This initiative targets micro-businesses owned by individuals with physical disabilities, aiming to increase their financial independence and business sustainability.

Data from the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs in 2023 indicates that nearly 23 million Indonesians, about 8.5 percent of the population, live with disabilities. The Aksabilitas Program seeks to provide inclusive support to help this community thrive economically.

In line with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities observed on December 3, 2025, Capital and Aksesmu conducted direct visits to small shops managed by traders with disabilities in several cities, including Jakarta, Serang, Bogor, and Bandung. During these visits, they offered business assistance such as essential goods, display racks, and tools needed to help sustain daily operations.

Yosef Risdianto, Operations Director of Aksesmu, emphasized the challenges faced by shop owners with physical disabilities. He stated, “Running a grocery store requires good management. For owners with physical limitations, it takes strong will and spirit.”

Muhamad Aidil Fathany, Director of PT Capital Financial Indonesia Tbk, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to inclusive economic growth. He said, “We believe economic progress should benefit everyone, including entrepreneurs with disabilities. Our partnership with Aksesmu focuses on expanding accessible financial services.”

Since its launch four years ago, the Aksabilitas Program has reached numerous traders by providing capital in the form of goods and business assets. For 2026, the partners plan to extend support to 25 additional traders nationwide, moving beyond the Greater Jakarta and West Java areas.

Emy, the owner of Warung Mas Dwi in Bogor and a program beneficiary, expressed gratitude for the assistance. “This support motivates me to keep my small business going. I sincerely thank Capital and Aksesmu,” she shared.

This collaboration highlights the importance of fostering inclusive business opportunities and recognizes the resilience of traders with disabilities throughout Indonesia.
