Georgia Tech Launches Scholarship Matching Tool to Aid Students
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at Georgia Tech has partnered with Scholarship Universe to offer a new scholarship matching platform for students. This tool helps students find external scholarships by connecting them with funding opportunities that match their academic interests, achievements, and backgrounds.
Students can access Scholarship Universe by logging in with their Georgia Tech credentials. After completing a profile and answering a few questions, the system provides personalized scholarship matches from a growing national database. The database includes scholarships sponsored by organizations, foundations, employers, and community groups.
Katie Conrad, Executive Director of Financial Aid, said the new tool simplifies the often confusing scholarship search process. She encouraged all Georgia Tech students to use Scholarship Universe to explore funding options suited to their qualifications.
The scholarship matching tool is available to all current Georgia Tech students as well as admitted prospective students who have a GTID. This initiative aims to expand access to financial aid and help students secure external scholarships to support their education.
