“We want to finish the preparation the right way,” McVay said. “We will travel tonight, arrive tomorrow morning, have a light walkthrough, then let the guys relax and get some rest before kickoff at 2:30 p.m. The week has been great for team bonding and focused work.”
By maintaining their normal routine while minimizing the disruption caused by travel, the Rams approached the game with a level of readiness that showed in their performance. They defeated the Jaguars 35-7 at Wembley Stadium.
After the game, the team flew immediately back to Los Angeles. This tight travel plan helped the Rams avoid an extended stay abroad and return quickly to their regular season schedule.
